Sold Products

In the Green House Gas Protocol, three categories relate directly to the emissions of the products that your company produces after they are sold: Category 10 Processing of Sold Products, Category 11: Use of Sold Products, Category 12: End-of-Life Treatment of Sold Products. You can find all those categories in the Sold Products section. It is important to note that you account for the emissions of the entire lifetime of the products that you sold in the reporting year, not only the emissions that your products generate in the respective year. These categories can be very comprehensive as they may be based on many assumptions, estimates and average data and industry standards. The definitions of the single categories can be found in the category fields.
