On 1 October, NIVI launches a free platform that makes it easier for small and medium-sized businesses to manage climate reporting and meet the increasing demands of EU directives and customers.
NIVI was developed out of the need for an easy-to-use tool, especially for SMEs that often lack the necessary internal resources and competences to handle climate reporting on their own. The platform makes climate accounting simpler and more accessible, lowering the barrier to entry for non-experts.
Focus on action over complexity
The platform not only helps fulfil climate and documentation requirements, but also allows companies to make informed decisions about how best to reduce their carbon footprint.
‘We know that smaller companies in particular often find the increasing demands for climate reporting a challenge. With NIVI, we have created a tool that makes it easy and intuitive to manage the reporting requirements, so they can focus on reducing their carbon footprint instead of struggling with technical details' says Rune Loftager, managing director at NIVI digital.
Verified by DNV
NIVI is one of the few climate reporting platforms that has had its methods and calculations verified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), ensuring users a high degree of credibility and accuracy in their climate data.
‘We are proud to be able to offer a solution that is so thorough yet easy to use,’ says Rune Loftager. ‘With the verification from DNV, we ensure that our users can trust the results and use them to fulfil requirements from customers, investors, and regulations such as CSRD - while setting their own sustainability goals.’
Free access for all companies
NIVI is designed with future sustainability requirements in mind. To enable more organisations to meet the growing expectations of accountability and sustainability, NIVI will be free for all companies.
‘Climate reporting and action will only become more crucial in the coming years, and with NIVI we can help companies address these challenges. Our goal is to make important tools like climate accounting and LCAs more accessible to everyone - an important step towards a more sustainable future where companies can take responsibility for their climate footprint’ concludes Rune Loftager.
From 1 October, companies that want to stay ahead of new regulations can access the NIVI platform and get started with their climate reporting - for free.
