You have two options to calculate the total emissions for your employees commuting, the distance based method or the average data method.

For the distance based method, you should collect data from employees on their commuting patterns. NIVI asks you for the transportation type and the total distance travelled.

For the average data method, you can estimate your employees commuting behaviour for example from national or regional average data. NIVI therefore asks for transportation type, the number of employees at your company that use this form of transportation and average numbers of the distance and amount of working days.
