Fuel Based Method

You can use the fuel based method, if you know the exact fuel that was combusted for travelling, the quantity and the the cost for the fuel. This method could be used for example, if employees travelled with their private or leased cars and you can track the quantity and cost based on reimbursement requests.

Transport Based Method

For the transport based method, you can select the type of transportation that was used (for example different cars, rail or airplane travel). To use this method, you need to know the total distance that was travelled with the respective transportation type and the total that was spent on travelling with this transportation type.
