If you have done a climate report previously, you can use that emission data to set a base year. This will not impact the data of your new reporting year, but will be used to show your progress in the dashboards.

If you do not have a climate report from previous years, you can simply skip this section and start your climate report for the actual year. In this case the first climate report you create in NIVI will be used as your base year when your start reporting for the next year.
